ComTec XPw Software Platform
Bug Fix ComTec XPw

This update provides Vista compatibility, corrects an issue with
combining files in Synthesis, corrects an issue with printing
demographic reports as one per page, fixes the issue with saving to PDF on dual core
computers and corrects a "graph style" issue when importing texts
files if the /d switch is specified. It also ensures that the trial version can test no more than
10 keypads; adds a gradient fill to the pie chart; adds a 0-9 scale to Synthesis; and, allows a Priority type
impromptu slide in Unity. Additionally, it includes all
prior fixes listed below.
The update corrects a major issue when running certain scale transitions which could result in losing the connection to a base station as well as a possible situation in which a base station changes to channel 12. It also includes a fix on a minor issue with the keypad range in 'Demo Mode', an issue with displaying 'Compare Two' slide types in reports and a major issue with polling more than 250 EU/UK keypads.
It also includes an older fix to remedy an issue with picking up clock and summary settings in the edit mode and with the Yes/No/Abstain heading when converting to a *.csv.
You should download the file, unzip it and copy files to c:\ComTecXPw.
This update should be applied to installations dated April 2007 or newer only (check file dates in the ComTecXPw folder). If your installation is older, remove all ComTec software and Fleetwood drivers. Then download the current trial version of ComTecXPw, install it, update your base stations, and install the current Fleetwood drivers.
ComTec Plus Software Platform
Vista Compatibility - April 21, 2008 (2.4 MB)
This updates replaces eight files which then makes systems that
shipped prior to 4/18/2008 Vista compatible. It also
removes error codes in the data file when keypads do not vote
and fixes
an issue when combining Synthesis files. Download the
file, unzip it, and copy the eight files to c:\ComTecPlus
overwriting the current files.
ComTec XP-IQ Software Platform
Bug Fix to XP-IQ - December 7, 2007 (2.7 MB)
This fixes the issue with saving to PDF files on dual core
computers and adds "write to text file" for Synthesis.
ComTec XPr Software Platform
Bug Fix to Synthesis XPr

Fixes issue with Synthesis XPr whereby the command to
show the first correct keypad (W from the keyboard) sometimes
does not work. Download the file, unzip it and copy the 3 files
to the ComTecXPr directory. When prompted to overwrite, select
'Yes'.
No other issues are known regarding ComTec XPr software.
ComTec 2000 Software Platform
We are no longer supporting ComTec 2000 versions of Unity
and Synthesis. Since it was first released in late 1999,
we suggest that you upgrade to our latest platform, ComTec XPw
which supports Standard Reply as well as Reply Worldwide. In fact, it allows you to
use both hardware platforms simultaneously.
