ComTec XPw Software Platform
A new version of ComTec XPw was released on Feb 3, 2010
which includes all previous fixes and replaces FTDI hardware
drivers with the Win7 certified version 2.06.
To update your system, please download the current trial version, uninstall your old version, restart the computer, and install the new one.
ComTec Plus Software PlatformJune 10, 2010 Synthesis Plus Bug: You may not be able to delete slides from a data file if the file does not start with slide number 1. This will be corrected in the next update.
May 25, 2010 Synthesis Plus Bug: In Presentation mode, if you execute an on-the-fly comparison using the side-by-side view the system is likely to crash when polling the next question. We plan to build the fix into an update which is scheduled for release in a few weeks. Notice will be sent to Bug Alerts subscribers at that time. Until then, please use the 'series' comparison rather than side-by-side. If you have an urgent need, we can potentially get the fixed files to you in advance of the formal release. In that case please contact us.
February 23, 2010 Bug: The installation package that was distributed between Feb 3, 2010 and March 15, 2010 was missing a file and would therefore result in a failed install on some machines. The March 16, 2010 website download and all CDs shipped from March 16 forward include the file.
To update your system with all fixes through and including the March 16 2010 fix, please download the current trial version, uninstall your old version, restart the computer, and install the new one.
ComTec XP-IQ Software Platform

This fixes a bug when viewing Team Details during the
presentation and the issue with saving to PDF files on dual core
computers and adds "write to text file" for Synthesis.
ComTec XPr Software Platform
Bug Fix to Synthesis XPr

Fixes issue with Synthesis XPr whereby the command to
show the first correct keypad (W from the keyboard) sometimes
does not work. Download the file, unzip it and copy the 3 files
to the ComTecXPr directory. When prompted to overwrite, select
'Yes'.

ComTec 2000 Software Platform
We are no longer supporting ComTec 2000 versions of Unity
and Synthesis. Since it was first released in late 1999,
we suggest that you upgrade to our latest platform, ComTec XPw
which supports Standard Reply as well as Reply Worldwide. In fact, it allows you to
use both hardware platforms simultaneously.
