Prices on most Fleetwood hardware and ComTec software have been reduced by anywhere from five to twenty-two percent. It is also important to know that prices on IQ hardware and some accessories such as Pelican cases have increased.

eXpress Launch Status: While many of our customers anticipate the arrival of our eXpress software, we are forced to delay its release until about mid-May with the primary reason being the current world-wide recession. Decreases in business spending have limited the resources available for this project. Additionally, there is one specific capability (web polling) that we had originally intended to release in a second version, which is now a requirement in the first version.
We do apologize to those who have made plans based on our earlier statement of a first quarter 2009 launch. Please know that the challenges have been many, but that ultimately, the final product will be stable, feature rich, and a joy to use.

Fleetwood's latest product, Reply Plus is now available. This multi-digit system is smaller, lighter, and faster than any previous Fleetwood product, and supports audiences of up to 15,500.
Although we are currently taking orders, ComTec software will not be released until the end of the month. Our initial offerings will be Unity and Synthesis. Elect will follow a few weeks later.
We are very excited about this product and feel that its major advantages are a rich feature set, excellent battery life, and extreme cost efficiency. (Reply Plus system pricing)

2/10/2007 Windows Vista Compatibility
All ComTec XPw and XP-IQ software will run on Windows Vista systems. Two known issues are that videos placed on slides may not play and that on some machines, polling music may play even though "Music Autoplay" is turned off.
Although we are researching the issue, we strongly recommend using ComTec software on Windows XP systems and have decided to provide only limited support on Windows Vista systems. The primary reason for this decision is that there are currently dozens of issues with various hardware devices and programs running on Vista. And, users are very limited in what they can do to resolve these issues. This would place an undue burden on our support structure, requiring us to clear numerous unrelated issues before we can even begin diagnosis of our own products.
We do expect that in the near future the 'Vista experience' will improve, and at that time we will revisit our support policy.
Currently, there are no known issues with using PowerCom on Vista systems. Here too though, we recommend Windows XP.
